HuraWatch Rights and Takedown Requests

Information a notice should contain

• the requester’s name and reliable contact information;
• the protected work or right being asserted;
• the exact HuraWatch URL and material at issue;
• a statement explaining the requester’s authority;
• the requested action and any relevant territory;
• a good-faith statement that the information is accurate.

Catalog metadata, artwork and external links

Identify whether the concern involves a title name, synopsis, image, editorial passage or outbound route. These elements can come from different sources and require different review. If the material is controlled by an external provider, HuraWatch can evaluate its own link or presentation but cannot alter the provider’s page.

Do not send unnecessary sensitive material

Provide enough information to establish authority without sending account passwords, payment data or unrelated personal records. Redact identification where a less sensitive proof is sufficient. A vague demand covering the whole site without URLs or works may delay review because the material cannot be reliably located.

Review and response

HuraWatch can preserve relevant records, inspect the identified page and remove, replace or clarify material when the request is supported. Fraudulent or materially incomplete notices may be rejected. Counter-information can be considered where applicable. This process is for rights issues; ordinary metadata mistakes belong in Corrections.
